Within the therapy sessions, we will explore the underlying causes of your symptoms and the difficulties you are currently experiencing, which may include concerns such as depression, stress, anxiety, grief, burnout, or the general sense of feeling overwhelmed or disconnected from yourself.

Our goal is to help you find a sense of fulfillment, inner peace, and the ability to fully engage in life—both personally and in connection with those you care about.

Approach

My therapeutic approach is holistic in which I combine Western psychology with Vedic philosophy.

Within the therapy we explore and resolve the deeper lying reasons for the symptoms you are experiencing. Especially in the first phase, the impact of your childhood and family system will play a central role, as this is the place where most of our deepest wounds stem from. We will explore the subconscious patterns and beliefs that are holding you back and keeping you stuck in a cycle of suffering, and you'll learn how to liberate yourself from these. The resolution often involves accepting and learning to feel your emotions and inner experience.

The main goal is self-sufficiency. You'll receive insight in your triggers and the pain you're experiencing. You'll learn to regulate stress and your nervous system and to feel and process your emotions. Without being dependent on anything or anyone, including me as your therapist. The therapy will help you to reclaim your power and accept yourself as you are.​

Therapy and meditation go hand in hand, as meditation supports the therapeutic process and your growth by expanding your awareness and regulating and releasing stress and trauma. When you decide to start the therapeutic process, I'll invite you to join my meditation course for a reduced rate.​

Fees and payment

Consultations and EMDR sessions are not covered by health insurance in the Netherlands. Employers are often prepared to pay for (part of) the therapy sessions. Are you self-employed? Then the sessions are often deductible. If you have any questions, please reach out through email.
 

First appointment (intake) 75 minutes €160

Single session 50 minutes €110

4-session meditation course for therapy clients €350

Each month I'll send you an invoice which you need to pay within 14 days. I hold a 24hr cancelation policy.​

Opening hours

Therapy sessions take place in my private practice in Utrecht Leidsche Rijn or online on Tuesday and Wednesday. If you'd like to book a session outside of office hours, please reach out to be by email so we can discuss possibilities.
